This was my first Zoe Blake book but definitely won't be my last. The plot was engaging and kept me glued to the pages. The story itself felt quite well rounded considering this was a rather quick read. I would put its page length at slightly longer than a novella.

So there you have it, a brief outline of what the reader is plunged straight into, within a very short time of starting this tale.
While I liked the story, there were a few things that bothered me. First, what the hell is the man's last name?! It does nothing to add to the intrigue, especially when the end of the book should clear up that bit of missing information. Second, what the hell does Logan do for a living? Is he part of a government agency?
Everything put together by her skillful mind. A catching story with suspense and deviously hot spanking and sex scenes. The story takes on a sinister level of “evil, wicked, mean, and nasty” that will have Logan handling Chloe differently than he has any other job. He has studied her, knows her past, and knows she needs a Daddy in her life. One who won’t allow her to ignore herself, her health, and one who will accept his punishments when needed. Daddy will get what Daddy wants for his babygirl.
I was so sad when it ended because that meant I had to leave that world. With every smack of his hand and lash of his belt, her walls slowly crumble, and she accepts big, scary, deliciously hot Logan as her daddy. He will do anything to protect and take care of her. The cabin and property are in a remote area but has fond memories, and the peacefulness of nature gives her a calming peace. She is able to work and create her unique jewelry pieces that she sells to jewelry stores.

This story reminded me a lot of Alexa Riley’s books. Insta-lust, alpha “heroes” and over the top situations. Daddy’s Home was a story that I couldn’t truly process as something serious, but had to take on face value.
